As anyone who has seen the Steven Spielberg classic knows, all you need to zip around town is a BMX and a plastic crate. While this might sound simple, it is actually quite complicated. We wanted the FLINC to be sturdy enough to transport all types of cargo (not just a little extra-terrestrial) for an entire lifetime (not just the length of a feature film). For anyone who doesn’t want a traditional large cargo bike. Everyone has to recycle glass every now and then or pop out to buy roof beams or some other long load.  FLINC neither rides nor looks like a traditional cargo bike. It’s nippy and agile in the city or in the countryside, can be taken on the train and never gets in the way on the pavement, even with a large crate on board. Thanks to its sturdy front rack, crate adapter and different fixing pins and loops, the FLINC can carry cargo and surprisingly large loads. By Céline, Lara, Ivo & Markus. FLINC is a two-woman and two-man company based in Zurich. FLINC was originally founded by Markus. Céline is responsible for the operational side of things, Lara takes care of communication and Ivo for production. If you want to visit us or take one of our bikes out for a test ride, feel free to pop into our space at Zentralstrasse 37, 8003 Zurich anytime. Simply drop us a line at hello@flinccycles.com to arrange your visit. Flexible. For all riders and (almost) all loads. The FLINC comes in three sizes to accommodate every rider. Thanks to the pins fixed at various points on the rack and frame, which can be used to attach loops and slings, and a specially developed adaptor for different sized plastic crates, the FLINC offers endless possibilities when it comes to attaching and transporting even the heaviest of loads. The handlebars can be easily adjusted with a quick release to ensure safe riding, even when transporting a stack of crates.  For the mechanically challenged. The FLINC is low maintenance but high performance. It’s equipped with the most durable, lowest-maintenance parts possible so it can be used by almost anyone for as long as possible. It has a belt drive with an 11-gear hub and is equipped with mudguards, front and rear lights and a hub dynamo as standard.  We only want the best for you. And the planet. All of us here at FLINC want to see more bikes, fewer cars and greener cities that benefit people and the environment. And, of course, we only want the best for you. If you want to find out more or have any comments, drop us an email at hello@flinccycles.com Have a good ride. Really. Take care.
